Lets Wire Up A Shovelhead?
Monday, January 31st, 2011i have 1980 FXE shovelhead. i need to get this hotrod rewired but not familiar with custom applications. so if someone could please help me out with a wiring diagram along with wire gauges that would be awesome. so here was we are working with.
93 ci engine, crane HI 4 ignition,kickstart only (i removed all the starter components), does not have factory dash, will need turn signals(no indicators), tail light/brake light (for front and rear brake light switches), head light (high and low beam), speedo light, after market ignition switch (only concerned with off and on positions on the switch as the accessory position isnt importand unless you think it is), horn, and charging system. the stator and regulator are both still there. the factory wiring from the handle bar switches are all still there but the connector has been cut off. any help would be great. if you are interested in helping me and need more info you can email me. thanks guys
